How come none of James Bond's past female acquaintances are ever brought back?

It appears that Paris Carver was the main Bond girl in an unseen Pierce Brosnan Bond adventure (implying the consequences behind Bond's "shag 'em and leave 'em" mentality with the women that he encounters) so I always wondered why the producers never actually followed through. Is it because the Bond girls never came back in the old Ian Fleming books, so why should they come back in the movies?

Cheaper to hire new help than try to meet their salary demands after Bond pushed them into the public eye.

Sylvia Trench...

She was in both Dr. No and From Russia with Love. She is the woman playing Baccarat who asks him "And you are Mr...." to which he replies.. "Bond, James Bond"

She was also at the start of "FRWL" as the woman that was in the boat with James when he gets the call from M to come in. There was an idea to have Bond be with Sylvia Trench at the start of every film as a running joke but that got nixed after FRWL.

Trivia: Lois Maxwell, the actress that first played Moneypenny was apparently given the option to either play Moneypenny or Sylvia Trench and she choose Moneypenny

Realistically it wouldn't happen much, as Bond is constantly traveling over the world and ingratiating himself into new social circles and criminal organizations.

And having Bond constantly make new conquests is a tradition of the franchise, and probably the books as well, Bond audiences want to see the thrill of seduction rather than the annoyances that come with an ongoing relationship. And I assume, straight male audiences like to see a constant parade of new beauties.

he's the "love 'em and leave 'em" type -- kind of a douchebag.
