if Paris were to be written as a previous Bond girl...

Who should she be? For me, I think her personality and appearance seems closest to Tiffany Case from Diamonds Are Forever. You could theoretically just rename her to be that character without changing much about her, but I don't think she would've been the type to get mad at Bond for leaving her. She seems like the type of girl who'd just move on to the next guy she meets. It'd also be strange to bring back a character that appeared 26 years ago and isn't even that well-known to casual fans of the series.

If we go by a character we can actually buy being torn up over Bond, then Anya Amasova from The Spy Who Loved Me, Octopussy, Kara Milovy from The Living Daylights, and Natalya Simonova from GoldenEye would've worked better. These four would have probably been young enough as well to reprise their roles at the time unlike Jill St. John(of course, the script would have to be re-written a bit to suit their characters). I would've picked Amasova myself.

Who do you think Paris should've been had if she were to be a previous Bond girl?

But would any of them have married Elliot Carver? I could easily see Tiffany Case marrying the wealthy Elliot Carver to enlist him and his vast resources in her scheme to recover the smuggled diamonds from the laser satellite. Teri Hatcher also reminds me of a brunette Jill St. John so I pick Tiffany for Mrs. Carver.

Another interesting option I've read for the Mrs. Carver character is Sylvia Trench.

I once read some rumors about really bringing Natalya back as MrS Carver so the impact of her detah would have more meaning to the audience and Bond.

I can see Tiffany Case, for sure.

I also like the idea of Sylvia Trench. Bond seemed to up and forget about her after his first two missions, lol

The three options I've read in books/online have been that Sylvia, Natalya or Pam could have been Paris. But I'm glad they went with what we have now. The character of Paris is different to the characterisations of Natalya and Pam, and Trench completely nailed the role of Sylvia that I'd rather keep her as Connery's girlfriend. Plus, I love Hatcher's work as Paris.
