You're right.

It's like 2 different movies in one. First half seems to have built up a more human Bond by having him have feelings for a woman who ends up being killed. Then the second half just switches gears and becomes a tired action movie where Bond is instantly back to joking around and forgetting about Paris.

Same thing with Die Another Day. Starts off making Bond a prisoner for over a year and being tortured, then turns into a campy parody.

The tone of Brosnan's Bonds was all over the place.

All of the actors who played Bond are still alive - maybe they are immortal!

Nah, QOS is more like that than TND.
