Should Talisa Soto's Lupe Lamora (from LTK) Been Brought Back?

Instead of giving us some supposedly important woman from Bond's past (Teri Hatcher's character) that we haven't seen prior:

It should have been Talisa Soto.

Although I preferred Carey Lowell in LTK, Soto is certainly more exotic that Teri Hatcher.

Lupe Lamora falling in with another rich crook, and still convinced that she's the one who got "too close for comfort" for Bond?

At least we would have known for sure that Bond was just playing along, for we'd be aware of their back story.

I can't really see Lupe Lamora as one who would've thought she got "too close for comfort" for Bond since he dumps her for Pam at the end of LTK.

If anything, Teri Hatcher resembles Jill St. John for me so I think they should have made her character Tiffany Case Carver instead. The repartee that Brosnan and Miss Hatcher have in the Bond gets reacquainted with Mrs. Carver party scene reminds me of the "Peter Franks" meets blond/brunette/redhead Tiffany scene at her Amsterdam apartment in DAF. I could also easily imagine that Tiffany, after having been dumped by Bond, married the wealthy and influential Elliot Carver so he could help her in her plan to retrieve the diamonds from Blofeld's satellite.

After her appearance in License To Kill, it is now a violation of the Geneva Convention to cast Talisa Soto in any future Bond movie.

Kara, we're inside a Russian Army Base in the middle of Afghanistan.
