best Bond car to date?

The 7-series BMW, while stylistically pedestrian compared to other Bond cars, certainly ranks up there as one of my all-time favorites.

Lots of practical features that are right at the cusp of believeability and future-tech nonsense.

- Anti-theft electrically-charged body
- Impact-proof windows and paneling (Strong enough to resist minor blunt force or small-arms fire, yet not strong enough for heavy-arms fire - a realistic touch)
- Smoke screen
- Surface to air missiles in the roof
- Reflatible tires
- AI assistance (future-tech that is believeable for the time period)
- wire cutter in the front emblem (OK this was a little too contrived for the situation)
- remote control functionality (the best feature and shown to be extremely useful)

The understated nature of the car is its own asset, lending itself well to the nature of MI-6 espionage.

It may not be the most exotic car in Bond history, but I also consider the BMW 7 Series in Tomorrow Never Dies as the best use of a car in any Bond film.

It is a pretty cool car.

Laugh while you can, Monkey Boy!
