Um, are you aware of just how cold it was on the North Atlantic in April of 1912? There's a reason everyone was wearing long coats when the ship was sinking.

Nobody stayed indoors. This is the thing I couldn't stand about the movie, the ridiculous artistic license.

Someone people were trapped behind gates and couldn't get out.

Others didn't want to leave their male families behind.
