Titanic movie Crew out to be ASHAMED of themselves! Plagarists!

So, we all know the story of Jack Dawson and Rose Dewitt, a poor 20 year old vagrant third class passenger and the previously weslthy, polished 17 year old girl who is in first class . Rose is being forced by her mother to marry the wealthy Cal in order to keep them on wealth after her father left them with only their good name. But who she would really to marry is Jack, and doesn't want Cal. They are all on the infamous Titanic that sinks on its maiden voyage. 1997 movie.

I read Nicole from Sunfire books that were about fictional women in American History, starting from 1620-1945. The books were written in the 1980s. So, I readbNicole and Nicole is a previously wealthy girl in first class being forced by her mother to man after her father leaves them with only their good name to keep them in wealth. But Nicole is in love with a third class poor vagrant and would rather marry him over the wealthy man. They are on the infamous Titanic that sinks on its maiden voyage.

Really? The Titanic movie crew clearly plagarized the Nicole book! WTF! They ought to be ashamed of themselves!

Drake is repetitive. He just raps the same thing over and over as if he is in an insane asylum!LOL:D

Are you talking about this book series?

Here is the plot summary of Darcy. There is no mention of the Titanic disaster, but it does use the Galveston hurricane event as a backdrop.

Darcy by Mary Francis Shura

For her sixteenth birthday, Galveston, Texas belle Darcy wants to have fun. She wants to laugh with her best friend Angela, flirt with Angela's handsome, maddening Yankee cousin Michael, and dance with her old friend Alex. But the Galveston hurricane of September, 1900, changes all that. Caught with Michael in the murderous gale and tides that level Galveston in one night, killing more than 6,000 people, Darcy survives. Now she must face her pain. She must find the strength to help rebuild the island that was her home, so is can never be destroyed by a hurricane again. But after such losses, will she have the strength to love again?

EDIT: Do you mean the story of Nicole rather? I believe you got the stories of Nicole and Darcy mixed up.

Nicole by Candice F. Ransom

Wealthy, sixteen-year-old Nicole Sanders encounters tragedy and romance with two very different men--Karl, a young immigrant, and English aristocrat Price Armsey--when she and her mother sail home aboard the Titanic.

So are you saying it is impossible for someone to come up with a similar situation on their own?

Especially since the situation, allowed for the ease of telling Titanic's story throughout the entire ship, and not just in First Class, or in Third Class.

As Stenian (above) noted, you are either putting us on, or you have a terrible memory. The "Darcy" book you refer to is about the Galveston hurricane of 1900, and apart from having a spunky heroine, has nothing similar to the Jack and Rose plot.

A detailed plot summary can be found here:

#fail, dude(ette).

After doing some further research it appears that the OP mixed up the stories of Darcy and Nicole. He is speaking of Nicole, which is another book within Sunfire series. That had the Titanic story line. It's about a 16 year old girl who has to choose between an aristocrat and a poor guy, who are both in love with her. 😉

Hm with that logic Disney plagiarized Shakespeare with the releases of the two Lion King movies.

Little Mikey Myers that lived across the street.

What?! There was actually a story about a love triangle before 1997?! And it's a "wrong side of the tracks scenario"?! But those topics have never been done before or since. How odd.
