Why did Old Rose ask Brock if he had found the Heart of the Ocean yet?

When Old Rose calls Brock the treasure hunter on the satellite phone at sea, she asks him if he had found the Heart of the Ocean yet. Why even ask that when she knows she has it? I know she's just trying to start the conversation and pique his interest, but I think she could find something else with which to start the conversation. It's kind of like she's teasing him without him even knowing it.

Old Rose knew that Brock was a treasure hunter and believed that he was looking for Heart of the Ocean which was the most expensive piece of jewelry that was supposed to have gone down with Titanic. Only Rose knew that it did not. As Brock noted, the only ones that would have known about the Heart of the Ocean were either dead or on the ship. Asking Brock about the Heart of the Ocean let Brock know that she was not some wacko, and made him take her seriously.

That was to get his attention.

Mentioning the diamond did three things. The first was to ensure that her phone call would actually get through to Brock. The second was to ensure that Brock would tell her everything he knew about the diamond and possibly have him fly her out to the site. And the third, as pointed out above, was to get his attention!!
