Why does IMDB not follow its own guidelines? Spoilers

Possibe spoilers:

These are the rules for posting on the main board.

"Comments:
(maximum of 1,000 words, minimum of 10 lines, see guidelines for details)"

Then I see many posts like this one. Quote:

"Scattered showers, 16 September 2002
Author: Mattias Thuresson from Stockholm, Sweden

The cast is superb but the script is hopeless. It scatters its potential in all directions: a bit of courtroom drama, breast cancer, a farmboy lover and a childhood of sexual abuse until your head is spinning. And it's not the fault of the cast, Jessica Lange in particular is superb. "

is that a minimum of ten lines?

Those guidelines haven't always been set, I don't think, so the comment was probably written before that guideline was put in place.

*knocks on door* I know you're in there, I can hear you caring!

There's a ten-line minimum? I've been posting on imdb message boards for years and have rarely ever written more than ten lines.
