I can't understand why this wonderful actress hasn't been mentioned. Her message board is almost blank. She is a great actress who really puts her heart into her acting. I loved her in Smoke Signals and in every movie she has ever been in. Lets give Tantoo the recognition she deserves. Why not jump over to her message board and start discussing this under-rated actress. Not under-rated by me, by no means.

I think she's great! Unfortunately, perhaps a bit typecast too often as the concerned mother or devoted wife (would love to see her break out of this mold and really do something different-and I'll bet she could do it, too!).
shareHi there Silverowl. Long time no see. I last spoke to you about Larry Sellers. Yes, you are right, she is fantastic, I loved her performance in Dances With Wolves, and Doctor Quinn. I still find the *beep* episode really disturbing, and I am sure that the real event was even more horrific than it was on DQMW. I am English with Scottish/Irish blood, I feel the pain that happened for all these horrible events that the native American Indians suffered. When she ''died'' in Doctor Quinn I cried for Cloud Dancing and her, and all the other guys that were slaughtered. Does that make sense? x

She was killed in a episode called *beep* along with the rest fo her tribe. It was a extremley good piece of acting, reducing me to tears. It was sooooo sad.
