Wow...

1. Bad Acting
2. Lame Jokes
3. Cliché Script
4. Cliché Indian Lines
5. Boring Plot
6. Absurd Happenings...(sharing his Dad's ashes with Thomas...right there in the car? The random girl in Phoenix?)
7. Awkward moments
8. Thomas’s voice

The one redeeming factor is that is had decent cinematography.

The rest is cinematic garbage. How this has a 7.0 rating blows my mind. A much better movie about Indians could be made.

I thought it was a pretty good film. It had a good plot in my opinion, and I didn't think the acting was bad...

Well maybe if a white guy wrote it it would be better... oh, wait, Kevin Costner already tried and ended up proving what a crappy Indian he'd make.
Hell man, read The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven. Sherman Alexie's a genius. Don't diss his jokes.

Great film. Based on an awesome collection of short stories, "The Lone Ranger and Tonto get into a fist fight in heaven". I guess it's a northwest or a skin thing.

I agree with everything the original poster said except the part about it having decent photography.
