Gilmore Girls set similarity?

I noticed pretty much immediately that the town set is very similar to Stars Hallow in Gilmore Girls, especially when mom and daughter are walking along chatting and talking to quirky neighbors.

OH MY GOSH!!!! I totally noticed that too! I think it is the same set actually, before they changed the diner a couple episodes into season 1. I am so gald someone else noticed it. I pretty much freaked out when I figured it out.

The town "set" is not a a set. It's the real small town of Edgefield, South Carolina. I live just across the river from Edgefield in Augusta, Ga and this movie was filmed on location here in Augusta, GA and in North Augusta, SC and Edgefield, SC.

Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls is actually a small town set built on the Warner Brothers Studio lot in Burbank.

No, the Gilmore Girls was definitely not filmed in Edgefield.

And to the user above..I believe it was also filmed in Aiken, SC as well.

I guess I'll cut my losses, and turn my tricks at the magic show..
