small film with wonderful character studies as the the effects of growing older, settling down, and the wistful longing of past love.

wellacted, cate in the beginning of her film career, and frances as enticing as ever.

richard is wonderful as a emotional repressed man, and will forever have my admiration and envy as a lover of miranda otto.

all in all,a great aussie film.
