I'm disappointed to see such poor reviews this received, but again it's certainly not your typical modern day movie... it's more like a moving work of art.

and this is coming from someone who usually doesn't appreciate artsy films! Sally Potter is simply a great director (maybe not a great actor/dancer) and I thoroughly enjoyed this film, I also enjoyed "Yes" by S Potter as well.

This film is an under stated reflection on art and artistic process and how our roots, or rootlessness, create us as artists. There is lots to think about after the film ends and all the while the mesmeric dance scenes both the performances and when learning to dance. I loved the latter as much as seeing the finished dance.
