Allowed to take the money?

Wouldnt it look kind of sketchy for one of the three characters to take that money if they agreed to help him out? I'm sure there must be some laws being broken by helping a guy commit suicide, especially in Iran. If the cops noticed the suicide and started investigating and found out that you had helped him out and taken money, I'm sure there would be some repercussions.

If he had decided to use a gun instead, it would have been even worse, because it could have looked like he was murdered and robbed.
