I was wondering if someone knows if there is a dvd with extras for this movie?Cause I saw a documentary about the movie probably around 1997,possibly on BBC and it is not included on the dvd.

as i know there is no dvd with extras,i would love to see a making of and interviews because i love this movie so much too.really sad that this beautiful movie is so unknown.
I first saw this movie on cable TV - HBO, I think. I loved the movie so much, I searched for and bought the DVD. However, the DVD is less explicit. The love scene in the cave on the version I saw on television was much more intense. I've searched for a directors' cut, but haven't found anything. Of course it was beautifully done, and to me it was very important to the movie.
shareI first saw it online and saw the scene your talking about, then I finally got the DVD and yes it was cut alot, I don't know why either? A documentary would have indeed been wonderful to see, I wish they had extras with it.
