WHO HAS SEEN THIS?...I LOVED IT.

I BOUGHT IT FOR GAROFALO...I FIND HER TO BE AMAZING IN EVERY WAY...THE MOVIE ITSELF IS A SLOW BURN ROM COM THAT GOES EXTRA LIGHT ON THE COM AND THE ROM AND INSTEAD INFUSES BOTH WITH A LATE NIGHT,LOST DESPERATION....I WATCHED IT DAYS AGO AND I CANT SHAKE IT FROM MY BRAIN...THE ENDING ALONE IS STAY WITH YOU FOR LIFE KIND OF SHIT....ANYBODY ELSE SEE THIS FLICK?...THUS FAR I HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS EVEN HEARD OF IT.

Found it on YouTube after your post. I like Garofalo too (even though I can never spell her name properly) and I think you're right - this film is going to be stuck in my head for a while. I shall have to dig out my copy of The Truth About Cats & Dogs as an antidote.

RIGHT?...IF I HAD SEEN THIS IN 97 WHEN IT CAME OUT,I WOULD HAVE BEEN 16...I MIGHT COUNT IT AMONG MY FAVORITES...I FIND MYSELF WISHING THEIR WERE SOME ANSWERS.ONLY THERE ARENT ANY ANSWERS,JUST THE END OF THE FILM AND A MYTSERIOUS VOID LEFT BEHIND IN MY THOUGHTS.

Yes. I was a lot older when it came out but even so it's a melancholy, romantic, quirky kind of story where you wonder 'what if'.
Even though I don't think there is anything that can be done to change the outcome and perhaps we shouldn't even feel particularly sad about that? It was her decision, bravely taken and I believed carried out.
