HELP! How did it end? (spoilers inside)

Please someone tell me what happened in the last 2/3 minutes. My VCR stopped taping at the scene where Max comes out of the water and sees Walken's ring lying on board then we see the camera panning to Walken and Leary sitting at the back of the yacht and then *fzzzzz*....(grrrr, damn VCR)

you find out that it was Elise's idea all along, they chat a bit then Denis Leary's character shoots them both. There's a neat looking helicopter shot and the movie ends.
