Is there another version of this movie?

Hi, does anyone know if there is another version of this movie? Because when it was first released and they showed it on CBS, the previews they showed were very different from this version. It had different characters than this movie did. It was another Indian and there was only 1 white woman who was captured, not two, and she was a blond, not a brunette. I don't know who the actors were, but they were certainly totally different people than Michael Greyeyes and Janine Turner. So I'm a little confused as to whether or not there's a different version of this movie somewhere. It's been driving me nuts trying to find out, because I haven't had any luck in my search.
If there's anyone that knows what I'm talking about or can give me any clues, that would be great.

Thanks!
Taylor

I think the movie your talking about is called Black Fox: Price Of Peace.

Or maybe "Follow the River".

I believe I have seen the same film. It may have been an episode of a western series on television, and it probably was in the 1960s or 1970s. I remember the captured woman was blond and looked something like Linda Evans. The Indian brave's name was Matuska (pronounced Mah-too'-skah), and he was tall and perhaps even more handsome than Michael Greyeyes. I remember the pioneer men went to great lengths to rescue the young woman. When she was shunned by white society, she chose to return to the Indians. When Matuska came for her, she said, "Matuska, I am your woman." The white rescuers asked, "Now, why didn't she say that to begin with?"

I cannot tell you the title or the series, but I have described it as well as I can.

I believe Cheyenne Warrior had a blonde actress, but she wasn't captured. Worth a look though, if nothing else you might enjoy the movie.

Cheyenne Warrior was great.

Hi, Maybe your thinking about "Into the West" Episode 2: Manifest Destiny. Where Naomi Wheeler played by Keri Russell is captured by the Cheyenne and renamed Five Horses as her new name explains what was paid for her, she marries a Cheyenne chief named Prairie Fire played by Jay Tavare, and she gives birth to a son named One Horn Bull.
