Question (may contain spoilers)

Just wondering about something Tokalah said to Anna in the scene where she tries to runaway. He accuses her of stealing horses and she throws it in his face that he stole her from her home. He then says he gave her a better life and that she was unhappy with her husband- he says he heard her say that. I don't remember her saying that at all, so I am wondering if I missed something?

reply

No, you didn't miss it. I always interpreted that scene as her asking on an unconscious level. When he and the others were attacking the wagon train, they exchanged what can only be described as a meaningful look. what he saw in her eyes is what he based this belief on. or it could be that it was 'vision Anna' who had asked and he assumed 'real Anna' felt the same way,

either that or there is a deleted scene but in all honesty, i don't think Anna would have said anything of the sort out loud to anyone. it was in Tokalah's arrogance and desire for this woman that made him believe she wished to be with him rather than her hubby. luckily she did fall for him otherwise that might have been awkward. :-)

Yeah, how lucky she fell for the arrogant, lawless creep.
