You can help get the STILL BREATHING DVD reissued and released on iTunes

For some reason this film is now impossible to get on DVD (the director's cut) and is not on iTunes. It seems STILL BREATHING has been overlooked by those that control distribution, despite the demand for DVDs and downloads. Universal Home Video controls the DVD distribution and Focus Features is the films original distributor (under its previous name, October Films).

okay, you've convinced me. Letter forthcoming. Come on, SB fans, let's get on it!

I bought a crappy copy from some woman in the Philippines (ebay). The quality is horrible, it lacks the director's commentary and a couple of scenes are cut. Total waste of money. I've had the Netflix DVD out for months!

The James Robinson? As in the director? Fortunately I purchased this DVD through eBay several years ago. I have to say that this movie is my absolute favorite!! It is hauntingly beautiful, wonderfully cast (especially Mr. Brendan James Fraser!) and timelessly themed. I, in fact, have adopted the mantra "There are two things I always wanted to believe in, but didn't dare. One is that there is one man, somewhere, who was made just for me. The other is that I just...might...deserve him." Gives me goosebumps every time I think about it! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU for this amazing film! I will be writing that old-fashioned letter right away so that many others can have the privilege of seeing this movie!

I just checked and you can get a new copy from Amazon.com It is totally worth it. I am lucky also in that I have the original soundtrack. It is one of the best ever and very hard to find. So, keep on enjoying the magical movie!!!
