This was a Touchstone co-production. It has its flaws but it’s a lot of fun. Never thought I say this but... this is probably the best Disney scifi space war film of the past thirty years.

Yeah, I like this too, not like satire but as a serious film

You should read the novel. It is excellent. Very different from the movie of course, but classic Heinlein.

Starship Troopers is a classic Science Fiction movie. I really like it. There are like 3 sequels to it, and some animated features, but none are as good as the movie.

Yea they shouldnt have made the sequels if they werent going to be up to par to this one.

Touchstone I believe was owned by Disney and it was created so that some of Disney's less family friendly films could still be produced just they weren't under the Disney name and therefore it wouldn't tarnish their reputation.
