While I like most people think this movie is mostly bad I could find a few things good about it. I think Willem Dafoe's character was great and he was also funny during the role. The other was the fact that it takes place at sea which is entertaining for anyone fascinated with ships and such. Other then that, just wasn't great. Speed however, was a good movie.

The cinematic highlight of this movie occurs at the 121 minute mark. I recommend fastforwarding to that point for maximum enjoyment of this movie.

Sure, it's entertaining, but only because it's so unbelievably bad to anyone - anyone - who knows the slightest thing about ships.

Seriously, I've seen this film a few times and it always cracks me up.

I only found it watchable for Sandra Bullock.
She is such a beauty.
