I remember before the movie was cast that Todd McFarlane asked the fans to write and suggest who they want to play the characters. I suggested Shemar Moore for the part of Terry.
People at the time also complained about D.B. getting the role, but someone (I can't remember who) said that they feared that too many black actors in the film my make the movie come across as a "black movie" and I suppose this would cause the film to suffer at the box office.
Did you really suggest Shemar Moore? At the time this movie was being made he only had like two credits on his resume,did you recongize from him from the Jamie Foxx show? He appeared in one ep in 1996. If it was up to me I would have gone with Blair Underwood
Would it really have looked bad if there was not at least one white character that was not a bad guy?
