It's one of my favourites of all time. I love everything about it except the role played by Jeanne Tripplehorn. Seems she always plays a desperate villain. I rented this again even though I never rent videos, last night, as I was thinking about it. It's one of those stories you never can forget even after ten years! But I forget the details in movies after a few years so I enjoy seeing them again. I still cried at the end. I used to give every movie that I felt was perfect and made me cry at the end 4 stars, my highest rating. But I have to give this 3 1/2 stars as it fell short of being absolutely perfect. That's still a very high rating.

2/10

I won't tell you why for two reasons. 1) I'd have to think about the movie to spell out why I didn't like the movie. 2) My reasons for not liking it are probably the exact same ones why some others like it.

This movie is definitely a 10! You can't fault it! I absolutely love Gwyneth and there's no one more suited to that part!

Love all the characters.. so well cast - even her best friend was fab in the part!

Definitely one of the best and most underrated love movies. A real fun one to watch multiple times. There's nothing more satisfying than watching someone pick their life back up after being dumped and fired.. it's an inspirational movie to watch when you're feeling hard-done-by.

This is one of the only rom com films that Ive ever watched the whole way through - i.e. I did not leave half way through because I was so bored. It kept me entertained from start to finish, which is something that most romantic comedies fail to do.

9/10 I thought it was a creative plot, interesting, I felt for Gwennith's character, it was charming, funny, I just very much enjoyed this film. I wish more movies were like this.

A lackluster 6.

9!!! One of my favorite movies! Though I wouldn't have casted Gerry's character with that actor (not going to look it up, right now). He had nothing appealing that was believable whether or not Helen caught him with Lydia.

10. Loved it from the first momemt. Watching this movie at 14 y.o ,I never forgot about it and even have the DVD.

Definitely 10/10. I had never heard of this until I took a Film Study class, and I thought it was so clever and well-done. The parallel story was enough for me but the plots were so thick and laiden with little details you have to catch that make it even more interesting, plus the witty humor, etc. It was very memorable to me and I own it now. One of my faves!

"A WANKER. Oh... Aries."
