I loved jon hannahs role, and wondered if you could recomend any other movies with funny nonstop talking charming people. with a big part in the movie.
usally if people talk non stop they get innoying, but james just gpot better and better.

Just curious, ladies, would it be OK for your boyfriend to tell you ... yeah, I'm married, and I never got around to telling you, but it's OK because we're in the process of getting a divorce? I really liked the movie up to that point, and I was hoping there was some other explanation about his wife. But he turned out to be a real jerk, and Helen basically said, "Oh, well, that's OK then." What??? She still wants to be with this guy?
If I really loved him, and he was getting divorced and haven't really been with his wife for 6 months, I think I would be okay with it. Divorces can take a long time, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to fall in love again meanwhile :)

I see your point, Cokoki, but I still think he's bad news. It's one thing to date a guy if you know he's getting a divorce. It's quite another matter if he doesn't tell you at all. If she hadn't found out, when exactly would he have told her? That's a huge thing to forget to mention. Also, isn't that how married guys usually string the "other woman" along, "really, we can get married as soon as my divorce is final. It's just taking longer than I expected." In this case, he's pretending to be happily married as long as his mom is alive? That could be years. He seems like a nice guy, but there are other, single, fish in the sea.
I'm a happily married guy, so maybe it's hard for me to relate to this situation.

sharewell it is a lot of info to dump on someone you've just met and it's not like he was two timing her. he and his wife were completely finished and they were only staying separated as opposed to getting a divorce for his mother. the wife was probably having relationships of her own. true James should have told her eventually once they'd gone on a few dates but it is a pretty hard thing to just come out and say
