nowhere near the original, but still one of the better Disney sequels

i grew up with The Lion King, that's one of my favorite animated movies ever. and i still love it to this day. so since it was a huge phenomenon when it came out, sure they were gonna make a sequel to it. and that's when The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride came into the picture. and keep in mind, this wasn't a theatrical sequel, it came out straight to DVD. now when this movie first came out, at first i was like "I don't know what to think". i was kinda worried, cause ya know Disney kinda sucks at making sequels. so i was afraid if this was gonna suck too, since the first one was so legendary. but i gotta say: i was surprised. The Lion King 2 is one of the much better Disney sequels out there. sure, it's nowhere near the original. but i was surprised that they were able to skip pass the Disney sequel cliches and actually make it a good and entertaining sequel. so all in all: nowhere near as great as the original, but i still liked it.
