The Exile Scene

That exile scene was probably the most emotional scene to hit me inside. Just seeing how heartless Simba, one of my favourite Disney characters of all time, was by passing a cruel judgement on someone who couldn't even say anything in his defense! Kovu did absolutely nothing wrong! I just couldn't believe how Simba could be like that. When I looked at Simba, I still saw that adorable cub sing, "Oh I just can't wait to be king!" but after that scene, I just see a heartless tyrant lion version of Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead. I'm serious! And you just really feel for Kovu in that scene. Honestly, the first time I saw that scene when I was younger, I actually felt like crying for poor Kovu. So out of all these Lion King movies, I thought this scene was most emotional.

He might not have acted very fairly and blamed Kovu to quickly, but you have to see it from his perspective: he thought Kovu was like Scar, but gave him a chance, then he was ambushed and thought Kovu orchestrated it. His worst fear was confirmed! He became blinded to reason, but in his eyes Kovu tried to kill him. He didn't know Kovu was innocent. I mean even if Kovu had been planning this, he's hardly going to admit it, is he?
