Thoughts on the final frames? (SPOILERS)

I'm guessing the final frame (Sheree's snapshots) was of the letter S cut into Bob's chest - I wonder if Sheree wanted the film to end that way?

Who knows. I found it a great snapshot to end it on. It was something that had stuck with me throughout the movie. Its one certain physical mark you see being made, and becomes a point of identification throughout the entire film, with his top off it was always visable. And it was still there after he had left.

Also.. what did it mean? Was it Sheree? Sado? Sick? could have meant a number of things to do with his life.

I also found the position he was in, holding his penis, quite interesting. You see him doing that a few times throughout the film, and even in his final poem he talks of how that helped him through the pain.

I thought we would see the moment of passing over. Im not sure how I feel about the cut.

As strange as it sounds, i thought the pictures of him in death were what upset me most about the whole movie. I wanted to weep. Did anyone else notice how serene and young he looked? it's like all the pain and suffering had left him, he looked so different...and at rest.

He did have that poem in the film where everything began with the letter "S". I hope it meant more than just Sheree. If it just meant her name, that wasn't the right note to end on. He was a lot more than her.
