How do they get free tea and coffee?

When Georgie is observing how frugally Dylan and Jez manage to live, she says "You get free tea and coffee and you even manage to sneak back the costs of your phone calls." I think I missed something because although I saw how Dylan got the money back on phone calls (he called the operator to demand a refund on the last two calls he'd made because of a crackle on the line which he actually created by sellotaping two ends of the phone line together), I didn't see how they got free tea and coffee. When Jez offers Georgie a cuppa, it looks like he gets the water out of an urn but again, it's still not clear to me how that works.

"He murders his wife every night. Other than that, I think he's pretty harmless."
