I watch this movie every time I get drunk!

Literally. I watch this movie, every time I get drunk. I don't know why. I even bought it on blu ray, so I could watch it in drunk high def I guess. Any suggestions on why? Does anyone else have this similar issue? I just have to watch it every time I get drunk. Let me know if you have this issue as well.

I watch this movie every time I get drunk too. I thought I was the only one, but feel better now knowing I'm not alone. I've found it a better watch when drunk by Vodka, rather than Whiskey.

True alcoholics get drunk at home and don't have this problem.

Perhaps you watch this movie when drunk because in one way or another you relate to his story. Possibly you consider he lived an exciting and adventurous life or even a heroic life (a life remembered) and you wished yours was the same. I think Into the Wild might be a similar sort of movie.

i did a gram of cocaine, a couple hits of ketamine, 2 whipits, and drank like 6 beers, and here i am watching this movie.....

The best part about quitting drinking is that you get to watch your favorite movies again for the first time.

The best part about quitting drinking is being able to laugh at all the drunks instead of being one of them.

Maybe it's because you'd love to experience similar high adventures, travel to far away places, away from the western civilization and feel a bit nostalgic... but the best you do is you stay at home, drink and watch this movie?

If this is the case with you, I can relate. During last two years i've started to put myself out of the comfort zone and travelled to far away places to experience new things. It helps.
