how did it end?

i was watching "The Killing Secret" but i missed the last part of the movie. Can someone tell me how it ended.

reply

Nicole discovers new evidence and that her boyfriend is the real murderer. He is convicted and sent to life imprisonment.

Actually he wasn't "convicted", but rather, he pleaded guilty.

reply

Actually, you are 100% wrong. From the closing of the movie:

Greg Dunleavy, having pleaded guilty to the killing of Emily DeCapprio, you have been convicted by this court on one count of murder in the first degree. You have been sentenced to a term of life in prison, a sentence you will begin serving immediately.

That's what I just said, he pleaded guilty - as your "closing of the movie" says. Are you kidding me here?

At any rate, I don't remember much about the movie - but you just supported exactly what I said.

Wake up and read the other half of your 9-word post, which you have conveniently forgot, where you said that since he pleaded guilty, therefore he was not convicted. That was the whole point of your post, to correct the other person, who had claimed that he was convicted. The ending of the movie indicates that he was convicted, contrary to your post.

Looking forward to your next post of denial.

Maybe you don't understand American jurisprudence but pleading guilty is not the same as being convicted. I don't care to explain it to you - feel free to live in your own little fog.

I didn't state what "happened" to him. I stated he pled guilty, which is what you stated, too. So we're in agreement - yet you somehow still want to argue with me.

The level of some of these IMDbers still never ceases to surprise me. At any rate, I don't remember this movie, all I remember is some guy who seems to think I'm wrong - but ultimately is proving I'm correct by his quotes.

Ridiculous argument.

Let's make it really simple for you:

1. From your post: he wasn't "convicted".
2. From the movie: "you have been convicted by this court".
3. Ergo, you are wrong.

As I say, it's above your level. You want me to be wrong and it'll make you sleep better, fine.

As I say, I am always amazed at the small-mindedness of some of these IMDbers (not all of course).

My post, "he pleaded guilty" - your post "he pleaded guilty" - therefore you are arguing over nothing. Case closed...

Your latest post completely ignores every single word in my post. Well done. You're an expert at the I'm-going-to-ignore-the-part-of-the-post-that-proves-me-completely-wrong-and-I'll-write-long-posts-that-have-absolutely-nothing-to-do-with-the-point-game.

Your original post: he pleaded guilty AND THEREFORE WAS NOT CONVICTED.
My post (and the show itself): he pleaded guilty AND WAS CONVICTED.

I agree with SnoozeAlarm.

reply

If a person enters a guilty plea, the court will then convict and sentence the person based on the guilty plea. As such, he was convicted. SnoozeAlarm is indeed correct as it pertains to the movie.

reply

Actually both were basically saying the same thing. One stated he was convicted, which is true. The other stated that he pleaded guilty, which gave us a more specific account of how or why he was found guilty. That may be important information to some viewer.it was to me and I had forgotten about that part of the movie.
