When the detectives were escorting Prescott out of town with her friend, do you find it strange how the killer just appeared out of nowhere?

He either followed them or waited at the traffic light because he knew that was the route to take to get off campus. I do have to say he was lucky either way.

I'm sure Mickey just hacked the traffic light so it would turn red when they got there.

That was a Die Hard 4 joke.

Funny? No not really.

The killer was just lucky he could keep up with a motor vehicle.

LOL I don't think he chased the vehicle. He must have tailed it in his own car. The movie never states that he doesn't have a vehicle. In Scream 4, Charlie had a vehicle but it was only shown in a deleted scene.
