This happens because that's EXACTLY how women are. I was watching Spider-Man 3 the other day. Pay attention to how goddamn annoying and realistic Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) is. Women don't understand ANYTHING that is not to her benefit. How females have not gone extinct is beyond me. If we didn't need them to procreate I'm sure they would be. There is absolutely nothing more annoying then a girl who is trying to talk about feelings and needs and love.

I can't stand it when the wife of the soldier (in any film) comes on-screen and starts whinging. I think in real life people do actually think about what it could involve to become the wife of a soldier/policeman or anyone that really doesn't have a choice but to go if ordered. That wouldn't include the workaholic banker/exec type, though ;-).
