After Goran taunts and maims the elderly Moslem woman, the village is attacked by helicopters. Goran shouts "Traitors!" and other invectives at the choppers and begins firing at them. The choppers are attacking a Moslem village, yet, Goran (a Serb) fires at them, and they fire back at him and Guy. What side are the choppers and their crews supposed to be on? Croat? Some Serbian splinter group?
shareIt's been a long while since I saw this film, but I think the choppers might have been firing at a Muslim village where no Serbs should be around, he just shot them back out of anger/self preservation. And the helos were Gazelles, which were manufactured in Yugoslavia also.

My opinion is that choppers was Muslims and they shot on Serbian soldiers, Goran and Dennis Quaid and also destroying Muslim village because it looked empty but they saw Serbian soldiers and they thought that they are not the only one Serbian soldiers in that village.
