Can anybody top this for so-bad-its-hysteric al entertainment?

Seriously? Has there ever been a more ludicrous film commited to celluloid? That Baby/Helicopter thing is breathtaking...

Better late than never, and hey, my spelling's improved. :)+)

I've heard it was a true story but I haven't found any source for it. Given how much ridiculous crap occurs to our hapless heroes ("Oh no! the accelorator's broken! And the brakes don't work! And the key's stuck! And the door handle's come off! And there's a bridge up ahead! And there's a dragon attacking us! And the sun's exploding!") if it is true, I hope there was a certain amount of artistic license involved. I haven't actually managed to see it again, but I'd be very tempted to pick it up on DVD if I ever find it. God, just thinking about it now has me in stitches.

Go and watch The Descent. Really, it's great.

marcusnicola, I missed that on the true movies channel too, the ads just made it look like a long list of every movie cliche possible.

And you marcusnicola. Just good to know that it's more than just me and PopcornDude have seen this masterpiece.

Buy it online? Internet? Gah! What sort of alchemy is that?

Oh my God.

"Customers who bought Runaway Car also bought

Everybody's Baby: The Rescue Of Jessica McClure"

Eeeep. That means somebody's taken it seriously.

you claim to have found this movie sooo uninteresting and lame but I find that hard to believe.

If it was as bad as you say, why didn't you leave the movie after the first few mins, why did you have to bother searching for the movie online...Its just haRd to believe someone would spend so much time on a movie they "claim" to have not liked...

PHEW...TOUGH WORLD!!!!!

Metric - Slightly frightening, but brilliant. Live it out.

This is a truly awful film! It's so bad that I actually remember watching it (even though it was about 6 years ago) unlike 99% of bad films which just slip on out of the memory.

A lot of people post messages on this site proclaiming "the worst movie ever made" for a lot of bad films but usually they are overstating. This one, however, is a genuine contender!

I had to keep watching because it was so ridiculous! It actually isn't a bad thing watching a film like this because it provokes a strong reaction; I found myself swearing at the tv (I didn't have the pleasure of seeing this in a cinema unfortunately). I couldn't believe they got lots of clichés from other films and just rammed them in there.

It's been 10 years since I saw this, but I remember Dexter being so funny! Like when they almost run him over and when they've checked he's OK and asked if he wants a lift he says no. But then he's just standing there with that look on his face! Later on he says of the Judge Reinhold character "Who is this guy, your dad?"! And then at the end, they've all got out, the other two are shaken but he's just standing there throwing rocks as if nothing much has happened!

Also, what with the recent Toyota fiasco the storyline suddenly seems much more believable! I agree with one of the posters here who says it's so bad they remember it more than other bad films! If I get a chance to see it again I certainly will!
