Who is interested in that?

I´ve got the feeling this movie is just for those who know about and are interested in the Munich high society. Hm, I always thought, good movies should be about topics of general interest...
For me the movie is totally uninterested and boring and I wonder why it was so
successfull.
I mean, after all it´s just a movie about Patrick Süsskind and Helmut Dietl.
Anyone disagree? Please answer.
