Who was the dead woman?

I was watching the film and when Ving Rhames saves the children, he sees a woman hanging from a streetlight and recognizes her before running away. I can't figure out who it was- it wasn't Beulah or Gertie or Jewel or Philomena, etc. Can anyone tell me who she was? Or was Rhames just shocked to see the lynched woman?

The dead woman was, me. I worked on the set of "Rosewood" as Elise's (Scrappie) stand-in and loved it. Working on the set of Rosewood was an enlightening, educational, and fun experience. John Singleton was a great Director and fun to work with. The entire cast and crew was great.

Hey januaryflowers, thanks for sharing. That must have been intense. How were relations between the white and black actiors? Are you in any upcoming productions?
