An amazing score!!

John Williams did such an amazing job..I'm so thankful that John Singleton hired John Williams to score the film..every music from the score is in the movie... I just bought the 2 CD set..CD 1 is the complete score while CD 2 has the original soundtrack from 97 including the vocals..so it's nice to have a little of both...a true treasure..if you like this movie and love movie classical soundtracks..I would highly recommend ordering it from either amazon, eBay or LaLaLand Records..I believe Intrada has it too..either way..it's a limited edition of 3000 and it's sure is wonderful!

(When I say vocals, I mean the choir, not any of the dialogue from the movie)

You are right! The score is fantastic, it elevated the movie. I need to see if it got any Oscar recognition. The vocals are fantastic and soulful. One of my favorite john Williams scores, very underrated

I bought some tracks from I-Tunes last Summer. Great score. Really brings you into the tight knit community and tragedy to follow.
