Harland Williams is still talking about this

I like Harland Williams but this movie sucked. I remember hearing him bitch about this movie not being on DVD about 5 years ago, at that point the film was almost 10 years old and I was thinking how sad it was he never got past this film. I just heard him again still talking about RocketMan. I guess this was his pinnacle in his mind? Some people would just try harder the next time, not Harland. 15 years it's been out, and he's still going around telling people it hasn't gotten a fair shake.

Maybe he genuinely enjoyed being in the movie?

He's got a point. I've been looking for this film on DVD for years. It's a freakin' classic!

It's not the years, honey; it's the mileage.

Agreed, love this movie. I'd buy it in a second if it was out on DVD or BluRay.

I'm glad he is -- this is the most underrated and overlooked comedy of all time. It's so weird and hilarious, I often think of Godard meets Looney Tunes when I watch it (honest).

reply

This is one of the best comedies ever. Never gets old.

reply

I like that he's milking it for all its worth.

reply

Why wouldn't he? Other than this, he has bit roles and voice parts. He's front and center in this role.

reply

This movie is hilarious.

I got this movie from Netflix back around 2008 or so. It's been on DVD. I'm sure Amazon has it for sale.
