JUST SAW YOUR POST AND HAVE ORDERED THE FILM FOR VIEWING.

WILL LET YOU KNOW THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION AFTER I SEE THE MOVIE.

Quite embarrassing that no one has responded to a legitimate question such as yours. All of us Yanks are not that dense.

Better late than never! Just saw the movie for the first time on TV... The graveyard scene is where "Elvis" shows Byron the grave of his wife, Beatrice. The story comes out that Beatrice was driving the car when it hit the train. Byron leaves his wedding ring at the gravesite and comes to term with her death.

that's really bizarre that this scene is not in the region 2 dvd... I mean it's a rather important scene. Of all the scenes that could have been cut, this was definately not the one... wonder why it was

Nothing really happens. They just stand there and look at the graves of Elvis and his parents. It adds nothing to the movie really other than confirmation that there is a grave and they segue right into the graveside scene where they talk about how Beatrice died.

Actually when they get to Elvis's grave, He looks up at the sky and says, I think I get it now.. Not sure whats is supposed to mean but then they just walk off and leave..

Thanks guys, I now have the region 1 dvd and yes, the scene does not add anything to the movie.
