Worst Blueray transfer ever?

I could be wrong but for a film dating 9 years.. this looks really bad.. I saw artifacts on the opening credits.. sony just lazy or what?

i watched the blu-ray version for the first time today
and although parts looked grainy, its not the worst ever!

actually i was actually quite surprised about how good the quality was.

keep in mind that blu-ray and HD-dvd movies aren't meant to
get rid of grain completely but make it more detailed. when
i watched this i could really see the content well on the
actors faces and also on Chows leather jacket!

the beginning part is probably the only part that looks kinda bad.

it could very well be your TV or settings on your TV.

Nope, I recently saw the worst one today.. now it's "Run Lola Run" sony didn't even clean the film up.. you could actually see scratches, spec marks whatever there called everywhere.. I change my nonimation for worst ever..

I've had the blu ray sitting on my shelf for months, just watched it this evening, looks much clearer than the old DVD....not disappointing at all. The colors look way brighter.

the worst bluray transfer ive seen is 28 days later, it has later been pulled from the market, it was an upscaled version of the dvd, it looked like it had been stretched :(

For me this is for sure THE WORST BLURAY out there. Im going right back to trade it for another movie. and im buying this movie on dvd insted.

I thought that this movie looked great on blu-ray and looked much better than the standard dvd. Why would you want to trade the blu-ray in, a high-definition and higher quality version of the film, for a lower quality and standard definition version in the standard dvd? That seems stupid to me.

reply

I agree with Mike 100%

Really dumb to trade bluray to dvd. :)

Bluray picture quality was fine, clearly better than the dvd.
