Bought the DVD a while ago and last week we (my girfriend and me) put it on looking forward to some excitement.
Never saw a more boring movie then this. what a lame stories and badly put on screen.
Acting was crap.
Didn't read the books, though i have a lot of C. Barker, he's about the best Horror/fiction writer i know and although i am not a big fan of S. King i can't think they would appreciate this.
Maybe the books are good where you can use you're own imagination, but on screen it was just boring.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!!

Why did you buy a DVD without finding out whether it was any good ? I rented it from Blockbusters and I thought it was OK but I wouldn"t have bought it.

my grandad bought it for me on VHS somewhere cos he knows I love Stephen King...He also bought me the stand lol

Excitement? Maybe not, but it was funny as hell! So I wouldn't call it crap.
