Well if you believe Howard Stern's puffery, Private Parts should occupy the top spot of all-time grossing movies, with an Best Actor Oscar for himself. But I think all his boasts are made tongue firmly in cheek. It's the type of thing guys do.

Well, Howard knew his fans would come out to see it. The point was whether or not the non-fans would want to see it. It didn't do gangbusters in the sense of Home Alone, but did fairly well.
