Anyone liked this movie???

Movie is really cute,i think it didn't try to show polish kind of life, maybe more to show american and english people way of life that they don't know. The actors are excellent

I loved this film! Being Polish myself, (try getting people to pronounce Angelika in Scotland!) from both sides, and being raised a Traditional Roman Catholic I tapped into it from deep inside. I wasn't raised typically Polish-ly, my mother didn't know she was Polish until her late 20s (she was adopted and they lost her records) and am a second generation Pole (WW2 brought us over) so interaction with my POlish relatives and this type of film makes me feel at home, and picks up on many things dear to the Polish heart traditionally as i've learnt through my very Polish aunt Helena in Torun. It re-ignited a love for my roots that none of my siblings share - i set off and made almond soup and pickled cabbage, i'm making pierogies tommorow!

I like this movie. Can't understand the hate, but oh well. Tastes differ.

"Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?"

Hodie, I am with you.
I liked this movie too.
So what if the actors were not born in Poland.(?)
Lena Olin was great (scary type of a mother, but great acting).
