Along with Edward Hardwicke as ACD, this movie boasts Ben Kingsley (Watson in WITHOUT A CLUE) as well as Clive Merrison (the best Holmes I've ever heard) from the BBC radio series- who here, interestingly enough, plays the part of Gardner, the spiritualist at the beginning.
