not really, she probably played the role the way it was written but she was more annoying then anything.
Actually I didn't like brittany murphy until recently because of this movie.

She's hot in this movie. Hotter than she is now, really. She got Hollywood skinny. In this movie she was just a young, pretty girl.

Yeah, actually she was. The only problem was that she only appeared in three brief scenes. She wasn't the only actor/actress to be wasted in this movie, the movie often introduced characters and then went nowhere with them. It is a testament to her talent that she made so much with so little in this movie.

Yes, Brittany Murphy was actually very good in this movie. Her role wasn't big, but her performance was still very memorable. Also, I don't think Brittany Murphy ever looked better than in this particular movie.
