Tee-hee!

The only reason I rented this flick was because of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. I know this has been raised before "Affleck was da bomb in Phantoms", but having listened to the commentary on Mallrats, where Kevin Smith introduces him as "Phantom's Ben Affleck", and watching the excellent "An Evening With Kevin Smith", I got bored with just hearing about the movie and decided to watch it. I was probably helped by the fact that I thought it was going to crappy. And, well, it was. Honestly, anyone wanting a halfway decent sci-fi horror should watch something else. But, anyone who wants to laugh for 90 minutes should have a good time (Peter O'Toole trying so hard to look interested). Just don't take it seriously. I mean, anyone who thought Kevin Smith actually was saying that Phantoms was great, do you really think that he would have Jay say so? So, if you want some laughs, watch any Kevin Smith flick, or Phantoms
