Philosophy

I haven't watched this movie in several years, so I hardly remember it. But watching it is the reason why I bought the book, and such an awesome book it is! I read it at least once a year, just cause it's so engrossing, and makes you think. Does anyone believe, like Dean Koontz believes, that there really is a protoplasmic 'Proteus' creature(s) that lurk below, causing the historically true mass disappearances? I think it's possible, since it all SEEMS to add up, so it's kind of hard not to disprove the theory. Like the pools (or even lakes according to the Chinese army disappearance) of water to come up out of no where, or the different mesages/beliefs that the Indians have about 'He who is everything yet is nothing', and so forth. It seems very far fetched, but I think there is a chance such a creature can exist. I don't know about it growing a human ego and whatnot, but yeah...

Yeah that definitely got me thinking the same thing. Still my favorite novel of all time I might add.
