'Director's Cut' ?

This mess of a movie just ran on WGN in a 2 hour ( with commercials) time slot.
It was referred to as a "Director's Cut"
Seemed more like the outtakes.
What a disjointed mess, I'm hoping a lot was cut out
otherwise its even worse than I've heard.
